Liposuction Surgery

If you’ve struggled with weight gain, and exercise and diet just haven’t given you the dramatic transformation you’d like, VASER LIPO is just the thing for you. Unlike a traditional liposuction or fat reduction surgery, VASER LIPO is laser assisted liposuction. We are the first and only clinic in Punjab to offer this service. SO if you are looking for the best liposuction technique with an FDA approval and which is the safest with minimal pain, you have come to the right page!

How does it work?

 The laser is first used to melt the fat and turn it into a liquid and then a precise, minimally invasive liposuction technologysucks the fat out, giving eye-catching results in just one procedure without the discomfort and long recovery times of typical liposuction treatments. The procedure is tissue-selective, targeting fat while protecting other tissues from damage. It’s powerful enough to eliminate substantial areas of fat but gentle enough to treat delicate areas such as the neck and arms. VASER LIPO is clinically proven to produce even results in treated areas, leaving your skin smooth and your body beautiful.

Key benefits of VASER LIPO :

  • Single procedure results with speedy recovery times
  • Improved body contouring over traditional liposuction
  • Easily removes large amounts of stored fat
  • Smoothes skin even in delicate areas like the arms and neck
  • Refines and accentuates appearance of muscles
  • Cause retraction of skin so no loose sagging skin post surgery.

WHY CHOOSE VASER LIPO?

VASER LIPO gently and effectively eliminates fat for a smooth, naturally beautiful look.

VASER LIPO is the customizable body sculptor that eliminates fat and smoothes the skin’s surface, helping you look and feel your best. This minimally-invasive liposuction procedure uses ultrasound waves to selectively break up small or large areas of fat while the surrounding tissues are left intact.

Understanding VASER LIPO

VASER LIPO uses a minimally invasive liposuction technique that selectively breaks apart and gently removes unwanted fat.

  1. The targeted area is injected with a special saline solution (tumescent fluid) to numb the area and shrink local blood vessels. It also temporarily expands the volume of the target area, making fat cells easier to remove.
  2. Small probes are then inserted into the body through small incisions. These probes resonate at a high ultrasound frequency, shaking fat cells loose while leaving surrounding tissues intact.
  3. The loose fat cells mix with the tumescent fluid, and are then removed from the body using special cannulas which help preserve the tissue matrix.
  4. After surgery, patients are prescribed a recovery regimen to promote maximum skin retraction and smooth results. Your physician may recommend massage therapy to enhance results and speed recovery.

Eligibility

Vaser liposuction is generally used to improve the aesthetics of a particular part of a body and not to necessarily lose weight. This treatment is undertaken by people who are more or less healthy and are looking for contouring or body sculpting. People who want to treat fibrous areas like upper abdomen and back can surely undertake this treatment. People who want to extract large volumes of fat are also eligible for this treatment as the ultrasound waves can break up and liquefy even large areas of fat.

AREAS THAT CAN BE TREATED WITH VASER:

  1. Tummy tuck
  2. Abdominal fat
  3. Mommy makeovers
  4. Thighs
  5. Buttocks
  6. Love handles (sides)
  7. Arms
  8. Double chin

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

  • Do not undergo VASER LIPO treatment if you have chronic medical conditions, such as obesity, diabetes, blood clotting disorders, heart, lung, or circulatory system disease, or vascular problems, including common circulation problems and coagulation problems associated with certain medications. Inform your doctor if you have any of these conditions or are in doubt.
  • The following conditions may also affect the safety or effectiveness of VASER LIPO:
    • Presence of collagen, scarring, or connective tissue disorders;
    • Presence of stretch marks or potential for stretch mark formation;
    • Lupus Erythematosus;
    • Endocrine disorders; and
    • Pregnancy or the possibility of pregnancy.

Side Effects

The risks associated with VASER liposuction are relatively less compared to surgical liposuction. However, some risks are involved as the process is after all a medical procedure. The ultrasound device which is used to heat and liquefy may burn the skin and tissues. Sometimes, the skin, from where excess fat was removed, becomes saggy, dimpled and wavy as they do not respond to tightening. VASER liposuction can cause discoloration of skin and changes in skin pigmentation.

Swelling

Swelling is one of the most common VASER liposuction side-effects. However, following the post-operative care guidelines provided by your clinic will gradually reduce the amount of swelling after the procedure.

In general, there are three things that are recommended to reduce post-operative swelling; this includes compression garments, lymphatic drainage massage therapy and anti-inflammatory medications prescribed by your cosmetic surgeon.

Shortly after your procedure, your cosmetic surgeon will provide you with a compression garment. The compression garment can be described as a tight piece of cloth that will be wrapped around the treatment area. By using the compression garment, you can protect the treatment area and reduce the swelling caused by the procedure. Applying constant pressure on the treatment area will also promote the healing process.

Anti-inflammatory medication could also assist in the healing process. These medications can be prescribed by your local physician, but also by your cosmetic surgeon. The anti-inflammatory properties of the medication will prevent complications such as infection, but could also reduce swelling.

Bruising

Bruising is another common Vaser Liposuction side-effects after a lipo procedure. Fortunately, this side-effect is also handled with compression garments, anti-inflammatory medications and lymphatic drainage massage, as described with the previous side-effect – swelling.

The degree of bruising patients experience after the procedure is unique to each patient, because each body is unique and heals in its own way. Therefore, it is impossible to predict the degree of bruising that a patient will experience after Lipo. However, there are some things your cosmetic surgeon can do to keep bruising to a minimum; this information will be provided to you before you have your cosmetic procedure.

Pain

The pain and discomfort patients experience after lipo procedures is usually most severe the first couple of days after the procedure. Once this period has passed, the pain tends to gradually reduce over time.

Pain and discomfort after a lipo procedure usually include tenderness and soreness, which can be handled with over-the-counter medication, or medication prescribed by your cosmetic surgeon.

During the recovery process, patients must avoid certain medications that could increase drainage and bruising after the procedure. These medications include Motrin, Ibuprofen, Advil and Aleve. This ban on medications is usually lifted by your cosmetic surgeon later in the recovery period. When in doubt about the medications you can take during your recovery, always contact your clinic for more information.

While the patient recovers, the patient can also lose some sensation in the treatment area. Therefore, it is recommended not to use any hot or cold compresses to reduce pain or discomfort, since the patient may not be perceiving hot and cold accurately. If hot and cold compresses are used, the patient could get burns or frostbite in the area, which could lead to further complications.

Recovery Time

The swelling that occurs due to VASER liposuction usually recedes in about 24 days. The normal time period required for the bruising to subside is generally 16 days. Again, about 16 days are required for patients to get over the numbness in areas where the therapy has been done. This treatment does not have any such harsh implications but a person requires about 3 week time to get over the initial side-effects.

Results are immediately noticeable after the VASER LIPO procedure and will continue to improve as the body heals. Final results are typically seen in about three to four months.

Recurrence

Vaser liposuction helps to remove genetic fat deposits that cannot be easily removed by exercising. The main benefit of this treatment is that helps you to get in good shape by removing excess fat. However, you need to lead a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent your body from going back to its old self. A person should exercise regularly and avoid having sweets and fast foods so as to maintain the sculpted look that the treatment has provided him/her.
